Ever since I was a kid growing up in the 90s, electricity has captivated my imagination. The sight of lightning, with its striking shapes, was everywhere –from logo motifs to video games and movies. Even fonts inspired by its buzzed shape were commonplace. With Senteia, I set out to channel my childhood fascination into a unique typeface of my own. Upon reviewing existing electric fantasy fonts, I was shocked (pun intended) to find that most fell into the same category: sharp angles. Determined to bring a fresh perspective, I infused Senteia with the fluid motion of handwriting. The result? An organic approach to capturing the essence of electrical manifestation. In addition to the main zappy style, Ruidosa, I introduced Calmada –a more subtle variation –and its finer counterpart, Fina. Together, they're poised to electrify daring projects and infuse them with a jolt of excitement.
