Timeless forms crafted with heart.
Modestia is a humanist sans serif inspired by engraved Roman letters, designed with a softer and warmer tone at heart. Its tapered, slightly narrow proportions, paired with sheared terminals, reflect an organic and calm presence without sacrificing character or expression. The subtle modulation in its strokes makes it ideal for projects that require a crafted look and feel while maintaining strong legibility.
The family comes in two styles: Roman for stable and structured communication, and Italic when greater flow and calligraphic nuance are needed. Modestia works beautifully as a display face in editorial, cultural, and brand projects seeking a distinct sans serif that doesn’t feel anonymous, but rather like a classic and gentle voice.
The above specimen contain fragments of poems by Ángel Antonio Ruiz Laboy.
